Facebook is a community where young people can keep in contact with friends over the whole world and create their own social network.

We created different groups in the facebook community. Please feel free to join our groups.

You can find the groups if you search for iswi.

Till now the following groups have been founded:

  • 'ISWI - International Student Week Ilmenau'
  • 'ISWI 2007 - Philosophy of education: Education - What is it?'
  • 'Students Organizing Conventions Everywhere (SOrCE)'

As an organisation we don't have the opportunity to open an facebook account and can't become friends with you. Therefore we have create our own fan page on Facebook where you can become a fan of ISWI when you are interested in.

After ISWI is over we were looking for different social networks, to keep in touch with you and to offer you a platform to contact people and friends, you have met during ISWI. You can add us as a friend or enter the ISWI group. You can find us or the groups by using the search function.

Frappr Map

This map shows people who have participated on ISWI during the last years.
Everybody who was in Germany for ISWI from 1993 till now is welcome.

To add yourself you must do the following steps:

  • First click on add yourself or Join
  • In the dialog box which is now displayed click on 'Move this pin'
  • Now select 'Hi! Add yourself' to see further settings
  • In the next steps you can choose an icon, your photo and describe your pin
  • The last step is to press 'Continue' to get added to the map

Feel free to join the family!

If you want to be a member you have to sign up for an Frappr account. This gives you the possibility to have your own friends map. Further you can create your own maps if you like to.
